The Invitation

Isn't she lovely! At the end of the ceremony, Jay announced us as the stars of the upcoming film, L is for Love. Then Stevie Wonder's song, Isn't She Lovely, a surprise from Lanell, serenaded all of us as we hugged and kissed our friends and family. We were ecstatic!

Here we are finally at the altar! My Mom and Dad are in the foreground and Lanell's Dad can be seen at the far right. The blanket we're standing on is a wedding blanket from Portugal. I bought the blanket in 1985 with the hope of someday using it for my wedding.

November 5, 2005

At about 4:20 in the afternoon on Saturday, November 5th, Lanell and I walked down the aisle together to the sound of many church bells ringing ( a recording I found on a Jane Siberry album ). We exchanged vows and were blessed by the words of Jay Billig, Gary Coultas, Marcela Billig and Gloria Martinez. Check back soon to read parts of the presentation and ceremony.
